What People Are Saying:

I am so grateful I had Katrin Viella my course leader. I went with my gut instinct and it paid off! She is extremely approachable and reassured me from the start. She has an inordinate amount of knowledge on the subject but was so down to earth and encouraged our thoughts and knowledge to develop throughout the course, building our confidence and empowering us as we moved forward in the learning process. She was empathetic and supportive and applied some of her personal experiences, which made it less daunting to talk about our own. 🤗

" I first met Katrin in her role as a ‘trainer’ and facilitator of a Mental Health First Aider course I participated in online. I quickly realised that the label was wrong - that there was so much more in the tin. Katrin is one of those rare, inspirational people: full of ideas and wisdom, and with the skills and empathy necessary to pass on those insights to others. She has a deep understanding of what makes people tick and how the pressures of twenty-first century life can upset our rhythms; she’s on a mission to pass that on to others. Her background, personal experience, openness and vulnerability - all of which she is shares freely - make her an effective coach and mentor. And she is a really nice person. Her passion is mental health and wellbeing - but not the stuff that comes pre-packaged, out of a tin. It’s clear to me that her focus is on individuals and their individual lives. Her context is that often what ails us is much more to do with the broken systems that shape our lives rather than implied ‘defects’ in our personalities or psychological makeup. I’ve learnt an enormous amount from Katrin already - and I’m sure I’ll learn even more from her in future. "

Katrin was an incredible trainer - she delivered everything in such a clear, engaging way. I really liked how she incorporated personal stories into the material, balanced presentation with interaction, and she responded to everyone's questions in a really supportive, helpful way. The pace was really good and she was able to deliver a huge amount of information in a relatively short period of time.

Our instructor Katrin was amazing. Warm and encouraging and also very considerate. The course was very enjoyable despite the sometimes very serious topics. Katrin went above and beyond with the quality and quantity of information she provided. I was so impressed with the course as a whole and feel that everyone should do it. And feel very lucky that we had Katrin as I think her knowledge and teaching skills are exceptional.
